Jalandhar September 15 : World Kabaddi League (Season-3) will be held from October 24th to November 12th, 2017 at Jalandhar & SAS Nagar (Mohali), respectively.
Surjit Singh Tut of USA known as TUT Brothers, Mr. Sarb Thiara of USA (Both Owners) Kamaljit Singh Hayre, Commissioner, WKL , Fatah Jung Bajwa MLA and Patron WKL, Ranbir Singh Tut, Additional Commissioner WKL and Harpreet Singh Sandhu, Legal Advisor of WKL today jointly addressed the press & media persons and that the World Kabaddi League (Sesons-3) is a professional with World’s top team’s league in India, contested every year by franchise teams, representing Indian cities & abroad. The WKL is the most-attended kabaddi league, is a professional Circle style Kabaddi League. It is the first worldwide circle style Kabaddi league.
According to Kamaljit Singh Hayre who is Commissioner of WKL that World’s top 6 teams t
will play their matches in 2 cities, namely Jalandhar & Mohali. The regular season will be of 20 days long and then an elimination tournament will take place in Mohali (Punjab-India) to determine a champion. The top participating teams are : Khalsa Warriors (United Kingdom), Vancouver Lions (Canada), Royal Kings (USA) Punjab Tiger (Canada), United Singhs (United Kingdom), and California Eagles (USA).
According to Surjit Singh Tut of USA who is one of the Owners that WKL will be started from 24th October, 2017 and will see various national and international Kabaddi players in action through 6 franchisees. The league will on touring sports format and will be played across 2 cities of Punjab, With 33 matches
Sarb Thiara of USA who is also one of the owners that as in the past, this time also PTC Channels has signed as broadcast partner to telecast Live the World Kabaddi League (Season-3) in India and also to broadcast the league around the world. There will be two matches daily under flood lights and all the matches will be telecast live in India as well as abroad.
Fatehjung Singh Bajwa, MLA and Patron of the WKL told that Ounjab Govt. will extend their full support to WKL being organised by the NRIs whose roots are in Punjab.
Ranbir Singh TUT who is Additional Commissioner of The WKL that the first phase of the World Kabaddi League will be played at the Guru Gobind Singh Stadium, Jalandhar where as the 2nd phase will be played at Hockey stadium, SAS Nagar (Mohali) from 11th to 12th November, 2017
