Workshop on Industrial and Business Development Policy organized in Moga

MOGA, November 20, 2019: The department of Industries and Commerce, Punjab in association with the district administration has organised an awareness workshop on the Industrial and Business Development Policy (IBDP)- 2017, Business First and ZED scheme portal at Deputy Commissioner Meeting Hall here.

Divulging the details, Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Hans said that officials of the Industries department apprised the industrialists regarding the regulatory clearance and incentives covered under the IBDP-2017 and procedure for the application on the Business First Portal.

General Manager Darshan Singh accompanied by Senior Industrial Promotion Officer Rajan Arora, Business Facilitator Dharminder Singh, BLEO Nirmal and DIC Shiv Karan welcomed industrialists.

Senior Consultant Ashok Prashar from Policy Implement Unit (PIU) from the Department of Industries and Commerce, Punjab was the guest of the honour on the occasion while the team from the District Industries Centre Moga led by Divesh Singla and Deepak Dimri also attended the workshop.

During the workshop, Kirti Mukherjee from the Quality Council of India has discussed the detailed procedure of the ZED scheme.

Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner said that efforts are being made to implement the IBDP-2017 at the grass-root level.
