Chandigarh, September 14– Transfers and Postings of officers and officials engaged in conduct of bye-elections for the seat of ward no. 34 of Municipal Corporation, Gurugram and ward no. 7 of Municipal Corporation, Karnal to be held on October 3, 2021 have been banned.
Giving information in this regard, a spokesperson said that if it is considered necessary to transfer any officer or official connected with the bye-election of Municipal Corporation, prior approval of the State Election Commission will be obtained.
