Today 34 patients discharged from Home and Hospital Isolation

Jalandhar, August 9, 2020:A total of 34 more patients including 10 from the local civil hospital,  nine from COVID Care Centre in Government Meritorious School, two from a private hospital and 13 home isolation today were cured and discharged. Now in Jalandhar, 2141 patients so far have won over COVID besides the district has now 838 active cases and 77 persons succumbed to COVID. After getting discharged, the patients lauded the hard work and commitment of the doctors, nurses and health workers during the course of their treatment. They also expressed gratitude towards the state government led by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh for ensuring sufficient arrangements for quality treatment to them. Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori complimented the team of doctors for ensuring quality treatment to these patients through which they were able to recover. He said that the day was not far when Jalandhar would be free of this COVID 19. He called upon people to follow physical distancing, respiratory etiquette, and meticulous hand hygiene and avoid touching face, eyes and nose.
