Chandigarh,May 14,2020: The Education Department of the Chandigarh Administration has extended the summer vacations in all government and government-aided schools of Chandigarh, states an official of the department.
A letter No 8834-36 dated May 14, 2020 to this effect
has been issued by the District Education Officer (DEO), Chandigarh to all heads of government and government aided schools.The letter states,”In continuation of this office letter No 8131 dated April 14, 2020 wherein summer vacations were decided w.e.f April 15, 2020 to May 14, 2020 in government ,government-aided and private schools of Chandigarh now it has been decided by the Department that Summer Vacations in all government and government-aided schools are hereby extended till further orders.”
