On 16th MayтАЩ2021 alert Border Security Force troops seized 03 Packets of
contraband (Total weight approx. 2.580 Kgs) suspected to be Heroin a/w 01 Pistol (9×19
MM, Made in Turkey) and 01 Mag in the area of responsibility of 02 Bn BSF, Abohar
Sector.
2. Anti-National Elements trying hard to smuggle drugs a/w weapons, but vigilant
troops of Border Security Force enormously defeating all these nefarious attempts
proactively. During the year 2021, BSF has effected under mentioned seizures on Punjab
Border :-

Heroin :- 229.995 Kgs (Including todayтАЩs seizure)
Indian Border Crosser Apprehended :- 03
Pak National Apprehended :- 11
Pak Intruder Killed :- 02
Weapon (Different Types) :- 07 (Including todayтАЩs seizure)
Magazine(Different Types) :- 09 (Including todayтАЩs seizure)
Ammunition(Various Calibres) :- 146
Pak Mobile Phones :- 03
