JALANDHAR,FEBRUARY 20 : Under the aegis of Buddhist Study centre, Apeejay College is celebrating “Enlightenment-2017” which is a unique seven-day programme highlighting the relevance of teaching of Lord Buddha in Contemporary World. Under this programme , today Poster- Making Competition, Clay Modeling, Rangoli Making and Body tattooing Art Competitions were organized. The students participated very enthusiastically in it and exhibited their creative talent. The colourful posters made by the students highlighted the importance of teachings of Lord Buddha in the modern times. The beautiful rangoli and clay modeling prepared by the students were really a feast for eyes. The body tattooing art done by the participants presented a unique blend of ancient and the modern.

Principal, Dr. Sucharita Sharmna applauded the efforts of the students for vibrating participating in various items. She also appreciated the efforts of Vishaw Bandhu Verma, Head of Department of History for successfully conducting the event.
