Chadigarh,November1,2018 ( By SK.Vyas) :: Arvind Kejriwal Chief Minister of Delhi today said that his focus was on giving good governance to people of Haryana and Punajb on the pattern of Delhi. He said that his politics was not revolving around Sukhpal Khaira forner LoP in Punjab. “I have bigger goals”, he said.
Addressing a press conference here at Press Club, Kejriwal said that Aam Aadmi Party would contest the Haryana assembly elections and promised a responsive government. He called upon the people of Haryana to choose between Temple and education and health for them. He said that BJP wanted to divide people on religious issues whereas BJP government are poorly performing on providing good education, health and vicic amenities to people. He said that people of India must think of future of theor next generations and not to get swayed by false promsies of BJP.
Kejriwal said that AAP would contest Haryana elections to win because no other party at present is in position to give good governance. He said that BJP has lsot credibility, INLD is engaged in family dispute and Congress has lost its base in Haryana. He said that AAP has presented a good model of governance in Delhi. He claimed that government schools in Delhi are better than any private school. He said that Delhi government has provided best medical facilities to its residents.
Delhi Chief Minister blamed Punjab government for causing pollution in Delhi NCR due to burning of paddy straw. He said that sattelite image has shown that paddy straw burning was very high in Punjab and negligible in Haryana. He said that Punjab government had failed to stop the straw burning despite hige funding given by center. He said that smoke from Punjab was travelling to Delhi and pollution level is double the normal levels.
Kejriwal said that BJP never wanted to resolve the SYL canal issue even whem they had same party governments in Punjab, Haryana and at center. He said that there were only two solutions to the camal dispute, either resolve it amicably by negotiations or respect the verdict of Supreme Cout. He said that they will wait for the final verdict of SC.
Kejriwal refused to respond to questions about infighting in Punjab unit where Sukhpal Khaira is challenging his leadership. He said that his politics is not limited to Khaira. Rweplying to a question that Khaira said he would not like to utter name of Kejriwal from his mouth. Kejriwal said he too feel the same. He said that it was internal matter of the party and would be resolved. He said that an approperaite action will be taken at right time. He told media to question him about the governance issues only.
