Chandigarh, March 26, 2018 (By TNL Bureau): Chandigarh got connected with its second Pune destination flight on Monday after JetAirways started a direct flight from Chandigarh to Pune.
The flight scheduled to operate Monday to Saturday daily, brought 137 passengers from Pune whereas 128 passengers took the return flight in afternoon.
The first-day flight arrived early and took off from Chandigarh on time. The aircraft was given traditional water salute at Chandigarh International Airport. Jet airways allotted it’s Boeing 737 (capacity 12 primers and 156 economy) aircraft for Pune destination. The minimum fare for Pune is Rs 4728.
The flight was inaugurated with lamp lighting followed by cake cutting by the guests CEO, CHIAL Suneel Dutt, AOC A. Sriniwasan, SATCO Wingco Akash Dixit, SHO Harsimran Singh Bal, Immigration Officer Sanjiv Kumar and other Airport staff.
CEO, CHIAL Suneel Dutt said that this was the second flight to connect Pune in a day offering connecting flights to other domestic and international destinations.
Jet airways station manager Virendra Rathore said that they were very happy to announce Pune flight which can help a passenger get various connecting domestic and international flights.
