Road Show, as a pre-event of the summit, in Mohali city will be organized on November 4
Deputy Commissioner presides over meeting with prominent entrepreneurs of the district
S.A.S. Nagar, October 30, 2019: Deputy Commissioner Girish Dayalan today informed that Mohali city will host Punjab Progressive Investors’ Summit-2019 on December 5 and 6 at Indian School of Business (ISB), Mohali to showcase the strength of the state and to attract new investments to create employment opportunities for the youth of the state.
Presiding over a meeting with the prominent industrialists of district SAS Nagar in meeting hall of the district administrative complex, Dayalan said that as a pre-event of the prestigious summit, the district administration will organize a road show in Mohali city on November 4, 2019. Mr. Dayalan said that the state government has planned a series of road shows in Mohali, Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Amritsar to prepare for the summit. The Deputy Commissioner exhorted industrialists to enthusiastically participate in the upcoming road show, which would start from IISER. Mohali on November 4.
The detailed presentations on Industrial and Business Development Policy-2017, Ease of Doing Business in the state and to create awareness and make User Feedback mechanism a success was given. The issues raised by various Industrialists were also addressed by H.S. Pannu, General Manager, District Industries Centre, SAS Nagar.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Sakshi Sawhney, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Aashika Jain, Assistant Commissioner Yashpal Sharma, SDM Jagdeep Saigal and more than 100 industrials of the district attended the meeting.
