Jalandhar, December 10- To register maximum number of construction workers Punjab Labour Department organized an awareness camp at few construction sites in the city to enable them to avail the benefits of various schemes under the Punjab Building& Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board. Enforcement Officer Chandan Gill labour Enforcement detailed the labourers about Shagun scheme, Stipend scheme, Exgratia scheme, Occupational Disease scheme, General Surgery Aid scheme, Tools scheme, housing scheme, skill training, Sarv Sehat Bima Yojna, Cycle scheme and others.
He appealed them to motivate others to register themselves with the board and avail the benefit of the schemes.
