Bag Gold Medals & Other Prizes

Jalandhar, July 10, 2019: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous Institution, No. 1 College in India by India Today Ranking, Jalandhar has a
strong NCC Subunit attached to 2Pb(G) Bn NCC Jalandhar. During the recently conducted Annual Training Camp(June 2019) in Jalandhar, 21 schools and college cadets spent a meaningful break in the camp organized by 2Pb(G) Bn NCC
Jalandhar.
During the camp various activities like firing, drill, NCC subject
classes, sports activities and various cultural activities were organized in
the form of various competitions.
It is worth mentioning here that S/UO Preeti
Kaundal was the camp senior for the ten days of the camp training. She was also appreciated and awarded with a gold medal for the same. Cadet Vishakha Banyal bagged three prizes including first prize in Solo dance, second prize in Declamation and third prize in Placard making the competition. Sgt Vishakha her
senior also won 2nd prize in solo song, a medal for piloting the guests during
the cultural evening and a gold medal for participating in Inter Battalion
Cultural competition.
Cadet Nisha and Amanjot also bagged a gold medal for
participating in and winning the same Inter Battalion Cultural competition. Cadet Garti won 2nd prize in Placard making the competition. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the achievers and averred that it was a huge response and participation on the part of the girl cadets that led to such a stupendous response in the form of achievements. She further maintained that it was an overall very satisfying experience for 42 girl cadets who completed the training despite all odds and were also certified for the same.
