Jalandhar, June 13, 2020: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Seat of Women Empowerment, Ranked No.1 in India by India Today Ranking (various categories)is serving the society ceaselessly in these difficult days of lockdown through various initiatives. In another initiative, PG Department of Cosmetology once again organized six days free online course on Five Beauty Skills. The free online course was specially organized on the demand of the students as they wanted to learn new skills in cosmetology. The course has received the participation of more than 100 people of different ages and professions from Pan India along with college and school students. The classes were taken on the Zoom platform in virtual meetings. During the classes, students were taught the 5 most essential beauty skills to learn during the lockdown period. These 5 beauty skills include Self-grooming, Eyebrow shaping, Thermal styling, Eyeshadow application& Skincare with home products. Every topic was explained with the help of suitable examples by the resource persons via screen sharing.
The participants were very much appreciative of this exemplary course as they got a great platform for improving their beauty skills during the period of lockdown. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that the PG Department of Cosmetology has taken the initiative of offering this course for the second time as it has received large success in its first stage.
