Marks the Celebration of National Youth Day
Jalandhar, January 12, 2020: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Autonomous and Heritage Institution, the seat of Women Empowerment, Ranked No. 1 College in India by India Today Ranking (under various categories) celebrated 157th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda based on the theme ‘Channelizing Youth Power for Nation Building”.
The function was organized by the Department of NSS and the Department of Political Science. On this occasion, Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi delivered a motivational talk to the students.
She apprised all about the meaning of National Youth Day and also explained the objective behind the celebration, which is to make a better future of the country by motivating the youths and providing the ideas of the Swami Vivekananda. She also laid emphasis on Swami Vivekananda’s message of spiritual awakening that leads towards an integrated personality.
She also motivated the students to have pride in being an Indian. She further maintained that everybody has an infinite power within herself to change and change the world.
The inspiring talk was followed by slogan writing and declamation contest on the theme ‘Swami Vivekananda’. Madam Principal also congratulated the organizers Mrs. Ashima Sahni, Dr. Iqbal Singh and Priya Ralhan for this great initiative.
