JALANDHAR,APRIL 16: A two day Seminar on PATS & SET named ‘Priprema‘ was organised by the Presidents and Secretaries Elect from all over Rotary District 3070 which comprises of State of Jammu & Kashmir, parts of Himachal Pradesh and Punjab.These Club leaders will serve under District Governor 2017-18. Rtn.Parvinderjit Singh whose tenure will start from July 1, 2017.
This was stated by Rtn.Rajesh Bahri (Media and Pubnlic Relations),Jalandhar.He said the seminar aimed at giving training to incoming leaders of the Club for the year 2017-18.It will go on for two days and will comprise of different sessions for training the incoming leaders which will help develop Club leaders who have the necessary skills, knowledge, and motivation to lead an effective Club.
There will be separate breakout sessions for Presidents, Secretaries, events and Spouses which will be by Rotary Leaders from different parts of the Country.
The Presidents and Secretary Elect Training Seminar of the Rotary District 3070 for the year 2017 were organized here at Hotel Ramada City Center here which continued till late in the evening on Saturday.
The day one of the event started with the opening remarks by the District Governor Rtn. Dr Sarabjit Singh,purpose of the day was highlighted by District Trainer PDG. Rtn.Upkar .S. Sethi, attendees were formally welcomed by the Seminar Chairman Rtn.U.S,Ghai and Host Club President Rtn.Balwinder Dhawan and Past District Governor Rtn. Deepak Talwar from RID 3011 of New Delhi and P ast District Governor Rtn.Madhukar Malhotra from RID 3080 of Chandigarh were the key-Note speakers for the vent.
He said under the leadership of District Governor 2017-17 Paramjit Singh all the Rotarians will be working, year will start from July 1.
Bahri said during the first day of the inaguration of the seminar by lighting of the candle the District Governor Rtn. Dr.Sarabjit Singh,he said leaving aside their servic to the humanbeings,it is an important part that personality development of the member is equally important.
District Trainer Rtn.PDG .Upkar Singh Sethi highlighted the importence ,aims and objects of thed of the first day of the Seminars which are being organised throughout the Country in other states.
The Chairman of the Seminar Dr.US.Ghai and the host Club president Rt.Balwinder Dhawan welcomed ther guests.On the occasion former District Governor Rtn.3011 fropm New Delhi Rtn.Deepak Talwear and former District Governor 3080 Chandigarh Rtn. Madhuksr Malhotra addreseed the kay notes.
