Ferozepur, December 15, 2017: Three days Training of Trainers programme was organized at Patiala from Dec 11 to Dec 13 to Jail Superintendents by Department of Prisons and Correctional Services, Punjab, in association with Bureau of Police Resource and Development, Home Ministry, New Delhi, under the tutelage of Rajan Kapoor, SSP Jails, Principal, Punjab Jail Training School.
The programme was chalked out by Major Pardeep Kumar, National Resource Person, DoPT as per the guidelines of BP R&D.
Giving this information, Major Pardeep said, as many as Jail Superintendents and Deputy Superintendents from 13 districts of Punjab attended the training programme. Apart from them, one Jail Officer as trainee also attended from eight states – two from Utrakhand, one from Gujarat, one each from Pune Yervada Jai, Tihar Jail Delhi, Haryana, HP and Jharkhand. The participants were put wiser in detail about the jail management and training.
A special assistance was extended by Vice Principal, Punjab Jail Training School,Patiala, R.K.Sharma.
On the concluding day of three days programme, Dr.Sukhchain Singh, DIG PP Patiala Range presented the training certificates to the trainees.
