Mumbai-Chandigarh, April 28, 2020: Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan has been hospitalized due to sudden deterioration in his health. Irfan is admitted in the ICU of Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. Recently, Irfan Khan’s mother Saeeda Begum passed away. At that time, there were reports that the actor had the last glimpse of the mother through video conferencing due to being away from home in lockdown. Irrfan Khan is currently in Mumbai.
54-year-old Irfan Khan was undergoing treatment in London, he is suffering from a serious illness for the last two years. He has a serious disease called neuroendocrine tumor which has been undergoing treatment in London. However, Irrfan appeared in the film ‘Angrezi Medium’ with Kareena Kapoor and Radhika Madan some time back. But even during the shooting of the film, Irfan used to come from London. Earlier, Irrfan was last seen in ‘Caravan’, released in 2018.
During this time, he stayed away from Bollywood. He returned to Bollywood after recovering from this disease for a long time. He returned to India in September 2019 last year. He was spotted at the airport in a wheelchair. After returning, he started shooting for the film Angrezi Medium However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the film could not be commercially successful. Irrfan Khan lives with his wife Sutapa Sikdar. They have two sons Babil and Ayan. Currently, all three are in hospital with Irrfan.
