Chandigarh November 26,2019 : Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal said that International Gita Jayanti Mahotsav would be organized in Australia in March 2020.
Manohar Lal was addressing a press conference regarding the International Gita Mahotsav-2019 being organized in Kurukshetra from November 23 to December 10, 2019, here today. Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs Mr Sandeep Singh was also present on this occasion.
He said that similarly, Canada has also offered to celebrate International Gita Mahotsav in their Country, the dates for which would be decided soon. He said that though the International Gita Mahotsav has already been organized in Mauritius and Britain, several other countries have expressed keen interest in organizing this festival in their countries.
Among those present on this occasion included Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs Sandeep Singh, MLA Thanesar Subhash Sudha, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Rajesh Khullar, Deputy Commissioner Kurukshetra Dr S.S Phulia, Honorary Secretary of Kurukshetra Development Board (KDB) Madan Mohan Chabra, members of the Board namely Saurav Chaudhary, Ravinder Sangwan, Upender Singhal and Rajender Prashar.
