Floral tributes paid to Dr.B.R.Ambedkar on his 129th birth anniversary
Ferozepur, April 14, 2020: Founder of Indian Constitution, Dr.R.R.Ambedkar was paid floral tributes by Deputy Commissioner, Kulwant Singh, on his 129th birth anniversary celebrations in district administrative complex.
After offering flower garlands, DC said, Baba Sahib was a great personality and he has made a major contribution to the progress of the country by drafting the Constitution of India as this has given many sections of society, a chance to move forward.
DC said the nation can never forget the contribution of Baba Sahib, the true tribute will be to help the poor and needy in today’s time. He also appealed to the people to take precautionary measures from time to time at their homes announced by the government in view of the Corona virus.
On this occasion, Naib Tehsildar Sukhcharan Singh Channi, District President Manohar Lal, District President Pippal Sahota, former MC Ulfat Rai, Mulakh Raj, MC, Kikker Sahota were also present.
