MOHALI: The University School of Management of the Rayat Bahra University here today organized farewell party “Hasta La Vista” where students of graduate and postgraduate classes bid farewell to the outgoing students of B Com, M Com, BCA, MCA, BBA, and MBA.
Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chancellor of the Rayat Bahra University, was the chief guest on the occasion also and Dr Daljeet Singh, Vice-Chancellor of the Rayat Bahra University, Dr Balram Dogra, Dean of the University School of Management, lit the ceremonial lamp to mark the inauguration of the function.
The highlight of the function was a colourful cultural programme wherein students presented a mix of scintillating dance performances like ‘Natti’, ‘Bhangra’, entertaining theatre, melodious songs and pulsating music that rocked the ground.
A short video showing the memories of the students in Rayat BahraUniversity screened on the occasion struck an emotional chord among the students. Students presented a powerful role of Krishna in the form of Dance named “Dashavtara”
Vice-Chancellor Dr Daljeet Singh wished good luck to the graduate and postgraduate courses for their future and appreciated their efforts.
Dr Balram Dogra welcomed the dignitaries and the chief guest. Students of USMS participated in a modelling contest with zeal and it got wild applause.
Different tags were awarded to the students, Tag of Miss and Mr Best Attire was won by Angela and Mukul Hira, Tag of Best Smile was won by Diksha Katoch, Tag of Best Personality was won by Rhythm Sood and Sukhveer , Finally Vasundra was crowned with the title of Miss Farewell and Amit Randhawa was awarded the title of Mr Farewell..
