CJM CALLS CAREER IN LAW PROFESSION ETERNAL

DISCUSSES HOW TO BECOME JUDGE, LAWYER

Jalandhar, December 19,2019:   The Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum Secretary District Legal Services Authority  Jaapinder Singh on Thursday called that the career in the law profession is most secure.

Speaking with the students during the session ‘Career into PCS (Judicial) and other legal services’

during Spark mela here at precincts of the Guru Gobind Singh stadium today, said that one  who wants to become judge or lawyer, must have to join LLB after +2 as five-year degree course and three-year degree course after graduation in any stream.

He said that one needs to clear Punjab Civil Services (Judicial) Examinations and these are entry-level exams for law graduates to become members of the subordinate judiciary.

Singh said that the legal profession is eternal and in these days of globalization, the profession is set to get further momentum as more professional lawyers would be required in the world.

CJM added that the legal profession is regarded as high esteem in the society as the lawyers

render valuable service to the people by getting their constitutional rights through courts.

He said that nothing is impossible in the world but one just need to burn midnight oil having honesty, positive thinking and complete dedication.
