Jalandhar January 14, 2021: On 13th Jan’ 2021, alert Border Security Force troops seized 12 Packets of
Contraband (approx. – 12 Kgs) suspected to be Heroin and one PVC pipe (approx. 13 feet) in the area of responsibility of 88 Bn BSF, Amritsar Sector.
Vigilant troops of Border Security Force once again thwarted the attempt of AntiNational Elements to push consignment of contraband items into India. During the year
2021, BSF has effected under mentioned seizures on Punjab Border:-
Heroin: 15.640 Kgs (Including today’s seizure)
