Jalandhar January 15, 2021:┬а ┬аThe alert Border Security Force troops, killed One Pak intruder who crossed the border and entered into Indian territory in the area of responsibility of 73 Bn BSF, Sector Gurdaspur.
On Jan14,2021, alert Border Security Force troops on duty observed through HHTI that one suspected Pak person coming from Pak side and crossed International Border and entered inside India for approx. 100 mtrs. Sensing the threat and to stop the misadventure, troops challenged the intruder but he did not stop. Subsequently, BSF troops fired upon the intruder in self-defense. Resultantly, 01 Pak intruder was killed on the spot.
On searching the area, except the dead body of the Pak intruder, nothing was recovered from
the spot.
Vigilant troops of Border Security Force once again thwarted the attempt of AntiNational Elements to push the consignment of contraband items into India. During the year 2021, BSF has effected under mentioned seizures on Punjab Border:-
