Ferozepur, February 21, 2021: On Sunday, the alert Border Security Force troops seized a tractor’s part (Top Link Assembly) filled with Contraband (approx. – 895 Gm) suspected to be Heroin in the area of responsibility of 136 Bn BSF, Ferozepur Sector.
Vigilant troops of Border Security Force once again thwarted the attempt of Anti-National Elements to push consignment of contraband items into India.
During the year 2021, BSF has effected seizures on Punjab Border -Heroin: 92.574 Kgs (including today’s seizure), 3 Indian Border Crosser Apprehended, 11 Pak Intruder, 2 Pak intruder killed, 5 Weapons (Different Types), 6 Magazine (Different Types), 49 Ammunition(Various Calibres, 2 Pak Mobile Phones.
