LEGAL HEIRS WILL TAKE RESPONSIBILITY OF SPECIALLY-ABLED IN CASE OF DEATH OF BIOLOGICAL PARENTS
Jalandhar, January 31, 2020: – The Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma on Friday said that the Social Security, Women and Children Development Department has initiated an online system for obtaining legal guardianship certificate of specially-abled children.
Divulging the details, Mr. Sharma said that the online system has been initiated by the department so that the people do not suffer any kind of problem.
He said that people have to apply on the website www.thenationaltrust.gov.in and also contact 0181-2459634 or can visit the office of District Social Security Officer, Jalandhar for further information.
He further told that any NGO which is working for specially-abled persons under RPWD Act 2016 must register the organization under the Act otherwise, action will be taken against the organization for violating the Act.
