Jalandhar@2020: The PG Department of Fashion Makeover of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organized a one day workshop on “Facial Massage” for the students of B.Voc (Beauty and Wellness) and PG Diploma in Fashion Makeover.
Rashmi Setia, Cosmetologist at Orange International, Jalandhar was the resource person of the day. In the Workshop, students learned about the structure of skin and problems related to it. Basic problems like skin aging and pigmentation were treated with professional facial products and ultrasonic machines.
She followed all the steps of facial in a very professional way, where she shared her experiences and made students aware of chemicals used in facial products. Apart from this, facials according to skin types were also discussed. Students came to know about how toxins are released and relaxation is provided to the client with effective hand movements.
Principal Dr. Sucharita Sharma putting forth her views said, along with theory, practical experience is also necessary especially in the field of cosmetology. Such workshops also help the students to know about the latest trends and demands of the clients.
She also appreciated Ms. Meenal Sandhu, HOD, Fashion Makeover for conducting the workshop.
