ADC and SDM presides over world Red Cross Day function
Bathinda 9 May, 2018 (Amrit Brar) World Red Cross Day (RCS) was celebrated at the RCS complex on Tuesday. Tributes were paid to Bhai Kanahiya and Sir Henry Dunnant (founder of World Red Cross) on the occasion.
ADC (D) Sakshi Sawhney and SDM Balvinder Singh presided over the function. Sakshi Sawhney said this year’s Red Cross slogan was ‘Happiness for All’. The state government has set up an anti-drug addiction squad, which will not only help provide treatment and rehabilitation to drug addicts, but also prevent young generation from getting addicted to drugs.
