Blind Love: DC Chander Gaind visits Blind Home to bless newly wedded visually-impaired couple

Ferozepur, February 5, 2020: On the last day of his stay in Ferozepur Chander Gaind, DC – transferred as Secretary Cooperation on promotion – visited Home for the Blind, Ferozepur to bless the new wedded visually-impaired couple – Vinod with Rimpy.

Vinod Kumar from Sant Kabir Nagar in UP is visually impaired and staying at Home for the Blind Ferozepur for the last more than 10 years during which period he improved his qualification as BA, B.Ed. and joined as regular Music Teacher at Government Primary School, Basti Bhattian Wali. He has been wedded with Rimpy 8th class pass from Khuntai Assam who is partially sighted.

All marriage rituals were performed with the assistance of Home for the Blind, in the presence of relatives, friends, colleagues and management members.

On special invitation, Chander Gaind visited the Home for the Blind to convey his best wishes to the newly wedded couple.

Vinod said, my wife Rimpy who is partially sighted will be helpful for both of us to enjoy life as we will not have any problem in our mobility and enjoy the colours of life through his expression.

Vinod Kumar said I feel the immense pleasure that Deputy Commissioner has joined our wedding ceremony which will be memorable in my life.

Everyone present at the wedding ceremony blessed the happy couple.

The special presence on this occasion was of the management members of the Home for the Blinds – Ashwani Sharma, Secretary, Harish Kumar, Assistant Secretary, Ramesh Sethi, Manager, Avtar Singh, Supervisor, Puran Accountant and Rahul Kakkar, MD WAIC.
