Jalandhar,July 30,2019: The Urdu Department of Lyallpur Khalsa College emphatically completed its first full session by attaining the topmost four ranks in the University and thereby repeating the unparalleled record breaking results from the first semester. Prof. Amanpreet Kaur bagged the first position by scoring 192 marks out of 200, whilst Prof. Jasreen Kaur and Mandeep Kumar jointly occupied the second rank with 188 marks. They were followed on the podium position by Prof. Manmeet Kaur Sodhi with 187 marks. College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra congratulated the Urdu Department and its students and also duly honored Prof. Arinder Singh from the Department of Urdu for his efforts in training the students. Dr. Gopal Singh Buttar Head, PG Department of Punjabi also lauded the efforts of the Urdu Department and the benefaction given by Sardarni Balbir Kaur, President Governing Council, Principal Dr. GS Samra along with the entire management of the college.
