Transport and Police Department Continue to Drive Against People Violating Traffic Norms

CHALLANS 17 VEHICLES’ OWNERS DURING A SPECIAL CAMPAIGN

Jalandhar, January 3, 2020:   Continuing the drive against the violators of traffic norms, the Transport and Police department today jointly challaned 17 vehicles found violating the traffic rules in the district.

Led by Secretary RTA Dr. Nayan, the checking was conducted at BMC Chowk on Friday. During the checking, the team inspected documents of vehicles challaned 17 such vehicles.

RTA secretary also said that checking in different areas would be a constant feature now and the violators would not be spared at any cost.

She exhorted the people to follow traffic rules as it would help in streamlining the traffic system in the city thereby reducing the accidents in the city.

Dr. Nayan also warned the people that any violator found breaking the traffic rules would not be spared at any cost.
