Chandigarh February 11, 2019: Saraswati Pooja and Basanth Panchmi was celebrated at the
Neerja Bhanot Hall, Girls Hostel No. 10 Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Idol of Goddess Saraswati was unveiled and sarasvati vandana was
recited. Wardens from other girl’s hostels, guests and residents
participated in this religious ceremony and took the blessings of the
deity.
Pooja was followed by Vasanth Panchami celebrations which
involved taking swing and kite flying.
