Press Club, Ferozepur condemns Bhagwant Mann’s behavior at press conference, demands apology
Ferozepur, December 26, 2019: The members of Press Club Ferozepur today condemned the attitude of Bhagwant Mann, MP from Sangrur during a press conference.
Bhagwan Mann has landed in a fresh controversy after he charged at a reporter during a press conference here apparently irked over a question that there was a perception that Shiromani Akali Dal – SAD – was the main, opposition party in Punjab and not the Aam Aadmi Party – AAP.
The Press Club Ferozepur members today in its meeting today held under the chairmanship of Parminder Singh Thind, President, condemned the outburst of Mann. The Chandigarh Press Club had also issued statement saying that the journalists present at the Mann’s press conference boycotted the event.
Condemning the behavior, General Secretary Press Club Gurnam Sindhu and Jaswinder Singh Sandhu, former President said, the behavior from a leader Bhagwant Mann in the video viral on the social media is not appreciable. People have high expectations from the elected members. They said, Bhagwant Mann mend his behavior and tender unconditional apology to the media.
