Fatehgarh Sahib, October 21, 2019: The supreme sacrifices made by the 16 police men of the district police, while performing their duties to maintain law and order and internal security will always be kept in high esteem and a source of inspiration for the police to do their duties with dedication, said Amneet Kondal SSP while addressing the police commemoration day at police lines here today. She said that it is only Punjab Police, which had succeeded in curbing terrorism, where as in the history of World, where ever the terrorism has started it had not been wiped out completely. She said that the brave Jawans and Officer of the State Police and para military forces faced the terrorism with gallantry and they not only sacrificed their lives but their families also for the cause of the people and to save their lives and properties. She said police department and society will always remain indebted to them.
Appreciating their sacrifices, Dr. Parshant Goyal DC said that it becomes our moral duty to extend all possible help to their families and assured that Administration would sort out their grievances on priority directions have been issued in this regard.
R.S.Rai District and Session Judge said that we all are enjoying the independence due to the supreme sacrifices of our forces. He said we must salute the brave martyrs and take care of their families.
On this occasion SSP honoured the martyr families and heard their grievances and redressed it on the spot.
