Chandigarh January 31, 2020: University Institute of Hotel and Tourism Management, Panjab University, Chandigarh organized Workshop on Road Safety in association with Chandigarh Traffic Police, here today.
Resource Persons Sub Inspector – Chandermukhi Mann, Head Constable Rajinder Singh, Constable Yogesh Rana and Constable Rajiv Sharma from the Traffic Police Chandigarh
informed students about the importance of following the traffic rules while
driving.
The purpose of the workshop was to use roads safely and follow the instructions. The students were updated about the new Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act 2019.
In the end, road safety quiz was conducted and the
winners were appreciated by distributing trophies by the Traffic Police
department of Chandigarh. Resource persons also distributed ‘Traffic rules’
information brochures and Do not honk stickers to create awareness among
the students.
