Chandigarh November 1, 2018 (By SK.Vyas) : Department of NSS, Panjab University, Chandigarh is celebrating vigilance
awareness week from 29th October to 3rd Nov 2018. Different activities are performed by
different units like slogan writing, essay writing, poster making, declamation contest
and Nukkad Natak. Nukkad Natak on the theme Eradicate Corruption by NSS volunteers was
staged at Student Centre PU Chandigarh. Natak was a satire on how corruption is
prevalent in every sphere of life & killing democratic system of country. Ten students
from different departments performed the act highlighting different forms of corruption
and their solutions.
Dr Suveera Gill, Chief Vigilance Officer, PU was the chief guest. Dr Vijayata &
Dr Bari acted as judges for the event. Dr Navdeep Sharma Programme Coordinator, NSS
gave a vote of thanks & appreciated efforts of volunteers for making all events a grand
mega show.
