Jalandhar, January 17, 2020: The NSS Unit of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya started the JOSH campaign (Jalandhar owns Swachta Habits) under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen.
NSS Volunteers removed the plastic from the roads, cleaned the roads, created awareness regarding segregation of waste and also cleaned the walls and chowks from Workshop Chowk to Maqsudan areas. Joint Commissioner Harcharan Singh and Program officer Dr. Anjana Bhatia raised the slogan, “ Kude ke Virudh – Yeh Yudh.” The NSS Volunteers enthusiastically participated in the campaign initiated by Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar.
On this occasion, Pawan Kumari, Harmanu and Dr. Meenu Talwar were also present.
