Jalandhar, July 23, 2020: The district administration on Thursday supplied 125000-liters of milk and other products to the people at their doorsteps to contain the spread of Covid-19 pandemic under ‘Mission Fateh’, a brainchild of Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh.
The teams of Milkfed under the supervision of General Manager Asit Sharma were ensuring the coverage of maximum households in the district with the supply of Milk and other products.
As per the details today, the teams of Milkfed delivered around 125000-liters of milk to the people of the district besides, 710-kg Cheese, 10550-kg curd, 18135-litre lassi and 375-kg Kheer through the authorized dealers of Verka in every locality.
Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori said the district administration was committed to ensuring that the people do not face any kind of problem in getting the essential commodities
Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh had launched a month-long drive on June 1, as part of `Mission Fateh’, to spread mass awareness regarding pandemic to win the battle against Covid-19 pandemic.
