Chandigarh, March 8, 2018:- Haryana Health Minister, Anil Vij said that appointment letters have also been issued to 157 doctors who were on the waiting list which was prepared during the last recruitment. As many as 386 doctors have already joined their duty under this recruitment.
Vij was replying to a question raised during the question hour of the ongoing Budget Session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha here today. In all, appointment letters to 543 doctors have been issued.
He said that these doctors have been posted in Primary Health Centres, Community Health Centres and Civil Hospitals in all the districts of the state.
In reply to another question, the Health Minister said that according to the National Standards, blood bank could be opened in those places where blood transfusion of more than 2,000 units takes place. On this basis, blood bank has been established in all the districts of the State. He said that transfusion of less than 1000 units of blood takes place in Dabwali, yet a blood bank would be opened in Dabwali, due to demand of the people and the geographical conditions there. For this, the officials have been directed to take necessary action and take stock of the situation.
