Haryana IGP (CID) Anil Rao gets President’s Police Medal

Chandigarh, August 14,2018 – On the occasion of Independence Day,  Anil Kumar Rao, Inspector General of Police, CID Haryana has been awarded the President’s Police Medal for distinguished service, while Vikas Dhankhar, Assistant Inspector General (AIG), Provisioning decorated with Police Medal for meritorious service.  Besides, 11 other officers and officials of Haryana Police awarded Police Medal for meritorious service.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of Police Department said that Mukesh Malhotra, DSP, Panchkula, Jaibir Singh, DSP, Faridabad, Ravinder Kumar, DSP Fatehabad, Ram Kumar, DSP Kaithal, Krishan Kumar DSP 2nd Battalion HAP Madhuban, Naresh Yadav, Inspector Incharge Crime Branch, Gurugram, Jaldhir Singh, Sub-Inspector CID Gurugram, Mr Ramesh Kumar Sub-Inspector, Hisar,Nain Pal, SI Gurugram, Rakesh Kumar EASI Panchkula and Meena Sharma, L/EASI, Panchkula are among those awarded Police Medal for meritorious service.
Meanwhile, Director General of Police, B.S. Sandhu congratulated all the police officers and officials who have been decorated with police medals on the occasion of Independence Day. Expressing happiness on their achievement, Sandhu said that it’s a great honour for the entire police force. The recognition of tireless and relentless efforts of Haryana Police officers and personnel at the National level would go a long way to further boost the morale of state police force, he added.
