250 Farmer-Labour Outfits to hold nation-wide protest on January 8

Ferozepur January 3, 2020:  As many as 250 Farmer-Labour organizations will hold nationwide protest on January 8 with support from Kissan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee, Punjab also.

In its meeting today, State President, Satnam Singh Pannu and General Secretary, Swarn Singh Pandher said, Kissan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee, Punjab fully support the nation-wide protest by 250 national level organization giving a Bharat Bandh call.

They said, the Centre and State government for the last 72 years have implemented anti-people and environmental development mode by following the imperialist policies and severely destroying the occupation of the 85 per cent farmers in the country by handing over to the anti-country corporate houses. With the result, around 50 farmers are committing suicides daily in the country.

The farmer-labour organizations have decided to stage nationwide protest on January 8 to urge the government to waive off the loans of the farmers and labourers on the pattern of corporate houses and introduce in toto Dr.Swaninathan report.

Giving a warning to the government to intensify the agitation in the coming time, the farmer-labour leaders said, the government should seriously act on their demands.
