Chandigarh: Universal Design ( access for disabled-friendly at public transport and buildings) by Professor Kavita Murugkar and seminar on safe and sustainable buildings were the highlight of the expo.
Sixteen Architects from 7 states were felicitated by Mayor Raj Bala Malik during Seminar The ongoing 4 day-long exhibitions kept the spirit alive by displaying variety at its best. With more than 250 exhibitors showing more than 6000 products including wooden Harley Davidson worth 2.5 lac , onyx stone chess board worth 1.5, White marble lion pair worth 2 lac, Afghani carpets ranging 10 k to 1.5 lac and afghani dry fruits, etc.
One of the exhibitors showcased mineral core coating to convert existing buildings to fire-resistant buildings.
Another one that attracted the crowd was a baby rocking chair with seat for mother as well as baby which attracted young mothers and one of the favorites for kids too.
