POONCH, FEBRUARY 7: District Development Commissioner Rahul Yadav today paid a visit to Girls Pahari Hostel, Bal Ashram and Narinekatan.
He was accompanied by Tariq Khan and other officials of District Youth and Sports Department.
During his visit, DDC interacted with the students of the Girls Pahari Hostels, Bal Ashram and Narinekatan and distributed sports equipment.
While interacting with the students DDC said that the kits are provided under Khelo India in which the mission of the Government is to provide conducive sports environment and opportunities to all the children.
DDC further took stock of the basic facilities being provided to the students and inquired about the needs and requirements of the students.
Students of the Hostels appraised the DDC about their demands and thanked him for providing the sports kit to them.
DDC directed the concerned to ensure proper cleanliness and better facilities to the students. He also inspected the said buildings and functioning of hostel mess and directed the hostel administration/warden for maintaining cleanliness in the mess besides serving proper diet to the students.
