Chandiarh, July 1, 2020: Botany Department of DAV College Chandigarh in collaboration with Waste Management Committee of the college organized a webinar on 29th June 2020 on Webex platform. The title of the webinar was “How to manage Leaf litter?”.
The speaker for the webinar was Ms Aditi Deodhar founder of NGO Brown leaf based in Pune who is doing a wonderful job in the area of leaf litter by converting it to compost and thus saving environment. Around 100 participants took part in the webinar. The speaker highlighted about the different methods of managing leaf litter which each one of us can follow at home without additional financial burden.
The Principal of the college Dr Pawan Sharma lauded the efforts of the organizing team in bringing a burning problem to light and encouraged the participants to imbibe such eco friendly practices in their daily routine.
