Jalandhar, 30 Oct 2019: 2 PB (G) BN conducted its combined annual training camp cum RDC Launch Camp at Lovely Professional University, Phagwara from 21st Oct to 30th Oct 2019.
Camp Commandant Col, Jasbir Singh said that 10 instructors, 3 Associate NCC Officers & Care Taker Officer’s along with Administrative Officer were also part of the camp, 250 Senior Wing & Senior Division’s participated in the camp including cadets from different districts of Doaba region. Apart from this, cadets from the Doaba region participated in Personality and Character Development capsule which was held on 24 Oct & 25 Oct 2019.
Eminent speakers from LPU conducted different lectures. Different fields of personality development were also covered during personality and character development capsule which helps the cadets to enhance their leadership skills, self-development, mindset, etc. and to make cadets understand their responsibility towards society.
During this camp, many NCC activities like a drill, weapon training, and competition of Tug-of-War, solo song, solo dance, group dance, group song, etc, were held, PT was carried out for cadets early morning for their physical fitness. A session for fire fighting was also conducted by Phagwara Fire Station. Special RDC group team practice sessions for best cadets, drill and cultural activities were also been done.
