Ferozepur, April 27, 2021: Assistant Commissioner (General) Ravinder Singh Arora informed the army will hold a recruitment rally from April 1 to 20 at Jyoti Stadium Ferozepur Cantonment in which 30,000 youths are likely to participate.
Arora said, keeping in view the strict arrangements, the various departments have been assigned the duties for the successful conduct of the recruitment process.
He said that SDM Amit Gupta has been posted as Nodal Officer and SSP Bhagiath Meena will deploy the adequate police staff to put a check and control over the traffic at the venue of the rally by putting up the barricades by PWD staff. Apart from this, one DSP, one SI and 22 constables will also be deployed at the rally spot.
While CEO Cantonment will ensure the drinking water, sanitation and deployment of safai karamcharis at the recruitment site, Civil Surgeon will ensure medical facilities, ambulances and doctors following the Covid guidelines and instructions from time to time, said AC(G).
Vigilance staff has also been deployed to protect the youths from any loot by the agents, he said, with an appeal to youths to avail the opportunity to join the army to serve the nation.
