1601 migrants onboard chugs off to Meghnagar (Jhabua) from Narnaul

Narnaul, May 13,2020 : As a part of special arrangement made by government a Special train with 1601 migrants including 161 children onboard chugged off to meghnagar (Jhabua) from Narnaul railway station on Wednesday evening. The non-stop SHARMIK special train would reach meghnagar (Jhabua) of Madhya Pradesh in 12 hours.

The migrants stranded due to lockdown and living in the shelter home of the district administration ferried in Haryana roadways buses to Narnaul railway station under the supervision of district officials. Free tickets were given to each passenger and they allowed to board the train after medical screening as per SOP issued by central government. Food packets, sanitizers, water bottles and face masks were given to every passenger.

The passengers seated in 24 rail coach while maintaining social distancing and other guidelines of Covid-19. Special sign were marked at the platform to guide the passengers.

Deputy Commissioner Jagdish Sharma  Superintendent of police Sulochana Gajraj, ADC Dr. munish Nagpal, SDM Manish Kumar and station superintendent Munesh Bhargava and other officials were present to see off the migrants.
