Chandigarh, BJP supremo Sanjay Tandon has started offering computers to economically weaker students to mark the 70th birthday of Prime Minister Narinder Modi. His Competent Foundation kicks off a campaign wherein 70 computers were given to 70 needy students. Along with that computer engineers will go to each one’s home to install the same. Over the last one week, to accomplish this campaign, the foundation has shortlisted the students considering their academic and family’s economic conditions.
In a press release, foundation President Sanjay Tandon said that the objective of this initiative is to provide happiness in the lives of underprivileged students on this auspicious occasion. In this present era of competition, the importance of computers in terms of education cannot be denied. The foundation has extended this benefit to needy students aged between eight and twelve years. He hoped that this computer would prove worthwhile in their studies as well as in informative entertainment.
