CHANDIGARH—Prime Minister Narendrea Modi has mentioned the noble work of Sanjay Rana of Ram Darbar of Chandigarh in his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ speech on Sunday brings Mr Rana to prominence. He runs business of Chole-Bhatura in Sector 29, who initiated the idea of providing ‘chole-bhatura free of cost to those who got dozes of COVID-19.
After the Prime Minister’s mention, Regional Councillor Shakti Prakash Devshali, Bharat Kumar and Mandal President Bajinder Sood met Sanjay Rana at his Ramdarbar residence and extended their best wishes, welcomed him with garlands and greeted with sweets.
Congratulating Sanjay Rana, Shakti Prakash Devshali and Bharat Kumar said that when the countrymen are battling a deadly disease like corona and many political parties are spreading misconceptions about vaccination by doing pity politics, Sanjay Rana encourages vaccination. The effort being made to do this is commendable.
Devshali said that it has been proved by Sanjay Rana’s good efforts that every small effort made by us to make the vaccination campaign a success. He also urged the people aware and help people in vaccination campaign..
He said that Sanjay Rana has brought laurels not only to Sector 29 but to the whole of Chandigarh in the country and the world.
