Police nabbes 2 drug peddlers recovers over 3.870 Kg heroin in sepeate three cases

Ferozepur, October 12, 2020:  At three different places, the alert Ferozepur police working swiftly on its tip-offs,  claimed to have put its hands-on the recovery of 3.870 kg heroin with the arrest of two drug peddlers.

In the first incident, one packet containing 2 kg heroin has been recovered packed in pair of socks, from Gajni Wala near the Indo-Pak border, during the routine patrolling by the police team with the assistance of BSF. A case under the NDPS Act has been registered against the unidentified person on the complaint of DSP Upinderpal Singh, Company Commander B Coy 124 Bn BSF.

In the second incident, 1.800 kg of heroin was recovered during the checking by the police over the suspicion persons of the area.  On the basis of input, a raid was conducted and Harpreet  Singh alias Gopi of Basti Nishan Singh Wali near Mallanwala was nabbed while he was going for its sale on a motorcycle.

In the third incident, 70 gm of heroin was recovered from one suspicious person identified as Vicky near TB Hospital and arrested.

In all the three cases, a case under sections of the NDPS Act has been registered and further investigations are on with the appointment of IOs.
