Chandigarh June 5, 2023:
On June 5, 2023, in honor of World Environment Day, a special event was organized by the UILS in collaboration with the faculty members, staff, and students. The highlight of the event was the planting of beautiful Bougainvillea saplings on the campus premises, symbolizing our commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable practices.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of esteemed personalities, including Prof. Sarabjit Kaur, the current Director of UILS, and Prof. Rajinder Kaur, Dean of Law, who have made remarkable contributions to the growth and development of the institute. Additionally, Prof. Gulshan Kumar, Prof. Negi, and other faculty members actively participated in the program, demonstrating their dedication towards environmental awareness.
The event was not limited to the academic fraternity alone; it also saw enthusiastic involvement from the administrative staff. Mr. Sanjeev Kamboj, Assistant Registrar, played an instrumental role in organizing and coordinating the event, ensuring its smooth execution. Mr. Naresh Kumar, the Office Superintendent, along with other staff members, actively contributed to the event’s success.
